New LEGO Movie 2 Trailer is Dropping Tomorrow

Chris Pratt's space adventures may be on hold with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but he's set to come back with The LEGO Movie 2 next year. WB has announced that a new trailer will be dropping tomorrow, and they've somehow thought it was a good idea to have a page where fans can wait for the new trailer to come out.

Check out the countdown here:

"The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part," reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It's been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.

The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman, and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

As the synopsis suggests, it will continue directly after the end of the first movie and will have the main characters having to interact with DUPLOs. Knowing the reality of the films, the LEGOs are actually just acting out playtime by a young boy, and this DUPLO invasion is when his little sister decides to invade his space with her idea of fun.

Most of the main cast for the first film will be returning, but I'm curious if Will Ferrell will be making a comeback as the Man Upstairs. New cast members also come in the form of Stephanie Beatriz, Tiffany Haddish, and Arturo Castro.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part comes out Feb. 8, 2019.
