New Kingdom Hearts 3 Images Give Better Looks at Olympus and Twilight Town

The ending of Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - Fragmentary Passage (what a title) confirmed that Olympus Coliseum would return in Kingdom Hearts 3 but recent trailers have shown us that it's going to be more than that. Thanks to some new images from Square Enix, we now know that this won't be Olympus Coliseum but Olympus itself, which is a huge change from previous games.

Not only that but we also get a quick glimpse at the returning Twilight Town, which now has updated designs for all of Roxas' friends: Hayner, Pence, and Olette. With both Roxas and Vanitas expected to play major roles in the upcoming game, it only makes sense to have these characters return. The new designs are just a neat bonus.

We knew these worlds would be returning to the game but it is nice knowing that Zeus will be appearing in the series for the first time. Previous games have only shown Hercules, Phil, Pegasus, Meg, Hades, Pain, and Panic. A few Titans and the Hydra have also made some appearances as bosses but it is nice getting more characters. Here's hoping Auron returns as well.

Roxas won't be the only person Sora is going to be saving as Re: Coded revealed that he also has to save Aqua, Terra, and Nomine as well. There is a lot of pressure on Sora's shoulders and he isn't even a Keyblade Master, despite saving the universe numerous times. Thanks for that Dream Drop Distance.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019.
