New Images for DC Universe's Titans Give Us a Closer Look at Jason Todd

While we wait for Dick Grayson to become Nightwing in DC Universe's Titans, the show will soon be debuting Batman's new Robin; Jason Todd. Canonically the second Robin to work for Batman, Todd's reputation and legacy with fans mostly come from what he does after being Robin but it should be fun seeing him don the costume for the series. DC Universe is now enticing fans with new images from the next episode, which will feature Todd prominently.

Played by Curran Walters, this will be the very first live-action iteration of the Batman supporting character and it will be interesting to see how Titans will choose to portray him. Most versions of the character tend to make Jason a hot-tempered character who is more willing to kill than most but considering how brutal Dick has been in the show, we might be able to expect something different.

Given how much younger he is than Grayson here, it looks like we won't be expecting a Red Hood arc for the character anytime soon. This is fine since most modern comics only focus on his post-Robin career so it will be neat seeing him without a red helmet or pistols. Whether this show will actually kill Todd, in the long run, isn't yet known.
