New Images and Details for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Besides the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, we're also going to be getting a new LEGO Star Wars which will cover all nine movies of the Skywalker saga. A new teaser had recently dropped, but thanks to DICE's Ben Walke, we have some new images as well as some details on the upcoming LEGO game.

These are his posts on Twitter:

Besides the easy gameplay, I guess the funny thing about LEGO Star Wars was how extensive it was when it came to the movies. With games having evolved way past the original LEGO Star Wars games, everyone is excited to see what's in store for this remake. Besides the new combat system, I'm excited to revisit some Star Wars worlds built in LEGO. I mean, if we're getting something as obscure as Utapau, I'm curious where else we could go; the droid factory in Geonosis? Maz's castle in Takodana? How about Canto Bight from The Last Jedi?

Yeah, I said it.

We don't have a release date for the game yet, but with it including content from The Rise of Skywalker, it's likely it will release after the film or alongside it. Then again, they could just release the game with content from Episodes I—VIII and then they'll just bring in the TROS content as free DLC. I'm just spit-balling here.

LEGO Star Wars: The SkywalkerSaga has no release date yet, but Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to come out Dec. 20.
