Earlier today, HBO just released the epic new trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8, and there's a lot of exciting new footage for fans to dissect and speculate on. However, the trailer also confirmed the fates of the three characters missing in action.
Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 8.
At the end of Season 7, we saw that Beric Dondarrion, Tormund Giantsbane, and Edd Tollett were left missing in action when the Night King and his ice dragon attacked Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, and fans were left wondering if the three characters survived to make it to the final season. The new trailer revealed the answer to that mystery.

We still don't know where they actually are in this scene but they're probably going to help Jon Snow and Daenerys in the war against the Night King and his army of zombies.
Game of Thrones Season 8 is set to premiere on April 14.
