Game of Thrones 8 will Feel Like 'Watching a Superhero Movie'

HBO is saying goodbye to Game of Thrones this April, and a lot of fans are expecting nothing but the best for one of the network's most popular shows. The series is said to bring together every major player in Westeros, and it may as well be the Infinity War of the series.

Director David Nutter tells Entertainment Weekly:

"The fans will not be let down… There are a lot of firsts in these episodes. There's the funniest sequence I've ever shot on this show, the most emotional and compelling scene I've ever shot, and there's one scene where there's so many [major characters] together it feels like you're watching a superhero movie."

It's amazing to think that though a lot of these characters have been with us since the first season, this final one is where we're going to have all of them finally coming together. A lot of people expect that they'll all be present during one big battle sequence, but I doubt that we're going to catch Cersei or Sansa in the middle of a battlefield. Most likely everyone will be together either before the biggest battles of the show.

Annoyingly, HBO has been keeping a very tight lid on Season 8, and the show is a month away without a full trailer released. The promo posters have been coming out steadily though, so fans can rest assured that we would be getting that full trailer soon.

Catch Game of Thrones 8 on HBO when it premieres April 14.
