Next month, the hit animated series Futurama will finally return, and, this time around, the gang is continuing their hijinks on their new home: Hulu.
A lot of fans have been looking forward to seeing more of their wackiness in the year 2999 and wondering as well whether the same humor that we fell in love with from the show since its original run will remain in their revival.
When the release date was announced last month, they also released a quick teaser video that promises that the look of the series will remain the same which delighted a lot of fans.
Now, we have a new look at the upcoming revival and it looks like fans have nothing to worry about its return.
Hulu Releases the Official Trailer for the New Season of Futurama
Hulu has released the official trailer for the upcoming revival season of Futurama. As expected, they gave us a sneak peek about the various hijinks that Fry, Bender, Leela, and the gang will find themselves in in the year 2999.
Fortunately, it was a promising preview as they showed that the new season will be pretty much the same as the previous seasons and it looks like the humor will remain the same which should assure fans.
However, as expected, they will also address a couple of topical issues including the COVID-19 pandemic when we saw Professor Farnsworth try out a test kit which reminds us of what we've gone through during the height of the pandemic.
It also helps that the creative players from the original run are returning to the season which explains why everything was still the same. The voice cast also comes back including John DiMaggio, who almost didn't return.
Hopefully, the series will indeed remain the same as they promised in the new trailer and that alone should make a lot of fans happy about its exciting return.
We should be hearing more updates about the new season in the coming months as we're getting closer to its release. There's a chance that they'll release another trailer to excite fans even further about its return.

The eighth season of Futurama is set to premiere on Hulu this July 24. New episodes will arrive weekly.
