New Dragon Ball Super Synopsis Suggests Gohan is In Big Trouble

Dragon Ball Super'sUniversal Survival arc is getting more intense as fighters from eight universes battle for their survival. Team Universe 7 is now down to eight members after Tenshinhan and Krillin lost. Now, a new set of synopsis has been released that's centered on Gohan having a rough time against a warrior in Universe 2.

Ken Xyro recently shared his English translation of the synopsis of Episode 108 of Dragon Ball Super, which suggests that the half-Saiyan will have a hard time against Jimeze from Universe 2.

The synopsis also suggests that Frieza is showing signs of betrayal such as smirking whenever Gohan is knocked down. "Frieza's behavior makes Universe 7 feel uneasy! As the Tournament of Power gets rougher with time, more and more fighters are eliminated," reads the synopsis. "At the same time, Jimeze of Universe 2 is giving Gohan a tough fight and Freeza does nothing but watch. Did Freeza betray Universe 7…?"

Based on the synopsis, it looks like Frieza won't do anything to help Gohan when Jireze beats the half-Saiyan up. The synopsis also confirms that Gohan will be in trouble after Jimeze uses his "instant transmission".

It's likely that Frieza will betray Universe 7. After Majin Buu fell into a ritual sleep, Goku decided to recruit Frieza to join Universe 7 in the Tournament of Power. Goku asked Fortuneteller Baba to revive Frieza for only 24 hours through the duration of the event, and they made a pact that if Frieza helps Universe 7 win the whole tournament, his resurrection will be permanent; if he betrays, then he should prepare to return back to hell after the 24-hour duration.

Here's the synopsis for the anime's current saga:

According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?

Dragon Ball Super is set to air on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
