New Dragon Ball Super Promos Teases Next Series' Art Style

Dragon Ball Super: Broly is coming out really soon, as it's going to be released in Japanese theaters this month and come to the Americas in January. Fans are hoping that it will be one explosive movie that blasts away expectations, with many of us already loving the animation and Broly's redesign. Another thing fans can't wait for is Dragon Ball's return to syndication, which might be soon if these recent promos mean anything.

Fans in Japan were able to catch some animated promos with Dragon Ball characters, which had Goku and Bulma in new animation styles similar to the Broly film. It seems like we will be seeing a similar style that is shown in the movie, though probably with less detail. Still, it will be nice seeing a new Dragon Ball series with a fresh coat of paint.

While fans did like the style of Dragon Ball Super, the anime often suffered from being an ongoing anime that didn't take breaks until the end. A few episodes had really choppy animation and there was even a recap episode, which is normally a death knell for some anime. Hopefully, Toei Animation takes cues from superior anime like My Hero Academia and release shows by seasons.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will start showing in theaters on January 16.
