New Dragon Ball Action RPG Shares Nostalgic Image of Goku and Gohan

Fans everywhere collectively soiled their paints with joy when Bandai Namco announced a new Dragon Ball action RPG that would be revealed soon. We are currently days away from this big announcement, hence the excitement growing for many. Though no new gameplay screens or videos were shared, Bandai Namco did share a nostalgic image of Goku and Gohan, hinting that this action RPG will retell the story of Dragon Ball Z.

Bandai Namco tweeted out said image, stating that this will be a nostalgic and never-before expressed world of the series. This seems to indicate that the RPG will have a huge world to explore and that fans will appreciate the details seen in them. Having Goku and Gohan here shows that this could be a fun retelling of Z, which a lot of fans won't mind.

Hopefully, the development team don't make Goku the only playable character since Z has a lot of story elements that don't involve the Saiyan. Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan have very crucial moments during the show, taking on enemies like Recoome, Nappa, and Majin Buu while Goku wasn't active.

It's also worth noting that Bandai Namco is releasing an open-world One Piece game called One Piece: World Seeker, which looks amazing. If this Dragon Ball action RPG can look and play as nice, Bandai Namco could be on a roll with their anime games.

Anyone else hoping for similar games featuring Hunter X Hunter or Gintama?

This new Dragon Ball action RPG does not have a release date.
