We're now just a few weeks away before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness heads into theaters and most of the plot details are still under wraps although a lot of fans have been speculating about the surprise characters that might show up in the film. So far, Marvel has not really hinted at anything besides Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier. However, a new tie-in promo for the film was released which features an easter egg to an earlier Marvel film and it has raised a question of whether it is a clue about a certain someone's cameo.
Per The Direct, Tide recently released an official tie-in promo for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where we see Wong accidentally throw some of the tuna melt into the Cloak of Levitation. When the Sorcerer Supreme went to the laundry to have it fixed, the cloak instead went on a flying spree around New York City and it ultimately landed in a Joe's Pizza truck.
If the name Joe's Pizza is familiar to you, that is because it was the location of Peter Parker's workplace during the opening of Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire.

Does it necessarily hint that perhaps Maguire might show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Not necessarily. A tie-in promo with a brand does not always have a direct connection to the plot and they're just simply a fun commercial that involves the characters from the film and the appearance of Joe's Pizza might simply be just an easter egg. You can also add the fact that it is a real place in New York City that a lot of people go to.
You can't blame someone if they think that it could be a hint on Maguire's possible cameo in the upcoming film. Not just because of the easter egg, but there is also the fact that Sam Raimi is the director of both Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While we don't know if he has input on the tie-in promo, there is still a connection that you can make on them.
Ultimately, this is not an exact indication or an actual clue that Maguire will show up in the upcoming film. Even if he is confirmed to make an appearance, they're going to keep it a secret and not give clues on any of their tie-in promos. We just have to wait and see until once we see the film whether Maguire is indeed going to be in it.
