New DC Rumor Suggests Ezra Miller Officially Walking Out as The Flash "No Matter What Happens"

Ezra Miller has been at the center of the buzz amid his unending controversies, which started from a disorderly conduct and harassment case in Hawaii and now descended into much more sinister, allegedly accusing him of grooming and kidnapping a minor. Due to the jaw-dropping controversies surrounding the actor's name, Miller's upcoming solo outing in The Flash places in jeopardy, with the actor continuously suffering from massive fusses online.

Reports were swirling that Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav almost scrapped the Andy Muschietti film, not until The Hollywood Reporter reported that Miller's team and Warner Bros. Pictures chairpersons Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy had a meeting to discuss the film's theatrical strategy, including the actor's behavior.

Following the said report, the Justice League actor surprisingly broke his silence about his controversial behavior through Variety, admitting that he's suffering from "complex mental health issues" and has now begun treatment.

Now, it seems that Miller had a change of heart again after a well-known MCU and DCEU scooper MyTimeToShineHello, reported that The Flash actor Ezra Miller is "done no matter what happens", and is "not coming back."

Although the scoop did not dive into details on whether Miller is leaving 2023's The Flash or stepping out from the film after its premiere, this probably means that Warner Bros. should now start looking for a Barry Allen replacement and check if Grant Gustin is interested. If Miller is indeed leaving the DC universe, this would definitely add up to the numerous conflicts that Warner Bros. has to settle.

The entire Ezra Miller controversy was a total roller coaster ride, and even at this point, we're all still curious how Warner Bros. will push through with the film, considering Miller's deteriorating career.

The Flash is set to premiere in theaters on June 23, 2023.
