New Cast Members Announced For Marvel’s The Punisher Season 2

Marvel's The Punisher has become a favorite amongst Netflix viewers and is considered as part of the upper echelon of superhero shows. The first season was bloody and violent, so there is a lot of excitement for the second season, which doesn't have a release date as of this writing.

There might not be a release date but Deadline has announced that three actors will be joining the cast for next season. Josh Stewart (Insidious: The Last Key, Shooter), Floriana Lima (Lethal Weapon, The Family), and Giorgia Whigham (Scream, Sierra Burgess is a Loser) will be a part of Frank Castle's war on crime in some way or another.

Stewart has been cast as John Pilgrim, a man who gave up violence but is forced to come back to it. Lima will be Krista Dumont, a smart, compassionate, and driven psychotherapist who helps out military veterans, which means a confrontation with Castle is inevitable. Finally, Whigham will be Amy Bendix, a street-smart grifter with a "mysterious past."

How they all fit into Frank's world should be interesting to see. Since this is The Punisher, one has to wonder if they will all make it out of the season alive. Only time will tell.

Marvel's The Punisher can currently be streamed on Netflix. No release date for the second season has been announced.
