Netizens Want Star Wars Actor Adam Driver As The Hunger Games Prequel’s Young President Snow

Earlier this week, word came out that TheHunger Games author Suzanne Collins would soon be releasing the prequel to her 2008 dystopian book trilogy.

To everyone's surprise, the novel titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes would put all of its focus on a younger version of Coriolanus Snow, the authoritarian leader of Panem and villain of the Hunger Games trilogy. While some fans were disappointed by Collins decision to make Snow the central character in her new prequel, others have begun imagining who might play Snow in an adaptation of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

One Twitter user decided that the best actor for the role would be Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's Kylo Ren, the critically-acclaimed Adam Driver. Sharing a screenshot of another tweet (that oddly cannot be found anymore), this netizen suggests that a blond version of Driver play the young President Snow in a live-action adaptation of Collin's new book.

In the original screenshot, fans get to see a concept illustration of the younger version of the President of Panem side by side with a photo of Driver with blonde hair – though we would have probably preferred that the original poster use a picture of Radar Technician Kylo Ren to go with the post.

Still, the poster isn't wrong. Driver could pull off the role. Not only does the Star Wars sequel trilogy star have the looks, but he has the acting chops to boot.

The only question is whether or not The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is going to get an adaptation soon. Let's wait and see.
