Netflix's 'The Witcher' will Hold a Hall H Panel at SDCC 2019

Netflix's The Witcher just dropped a load of new promo photos giving us a first look at Henry Cavill's Geralt of Rivia, but we should be expecting a trailer drop soon. Just in, we now know that The Witcher will actually be holding a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, and it's likely there where we'll get the trailer.

As per Discussing Film, The Witcher panel will take place 2:25 p.m. PST on Friday, July 19, in Hall H. The panel will be hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown (Avengers: Endgame, Community), and will feature an appearance from Cavill, his co-stars Anya Cholatra and Freya Allan, plus showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich.

Though a lot of people are expecting it to turn out like CD Projekt Red's The Witcher game, it's said that this series will be closer to the series of books from Andrzej Sapkowski. I don't expect the series to completely draw from the games though, as it is the most popular Witcher property right now. Minus the beard, you could say that Cavill's Geralt kind of resembles the one in the game.

For now, we still don't have a specific release for The Witcher, but we could get something at SDCC 2019 later this month. We may not have a date, but best we know is that the series is set to come out this fall.
