There's a lot of awesome new footage in the new trailer for The Witcher and Netflix has just released some stunning images from the highly anticipated series. Fans can finally get a closer look at Geralt of Rivia, Princess Ciri, and Yennefer of Vengerberg.
First, here's Henry Cavill as Geralt preparing for a fight.
Geralt appears to be in the middle of an argument with a mysterious woman in this one.
The image of Freya Allen's Princess Ciri walking in a desert is stunning.
Here she is back at home but that doesn't necessarily mean Ciri is safe.
Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) looks gorgeous in this photo.
She is joined by a soldier and another woman in a picture that suggests that they are being chased.
Chalotra appears to be wearing fake blood in a behind-the-scenes photo.
The official synopsis for The Witcher has also been released. It reads as follows:
The series will also star Jodhi May, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read, and Emma Appleton. The Witcher will premiere on Netflix on December 20.
