Netflix Sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Unveils First Trailer


Daniel Craig is back as Detective Benoit Blanc, and fans will finally witness another puzzle-filled mystery in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. After months of anticipation, Netflix has finally released the first teaser of the Knives Out sequel, featuring Blanc's new assignment on a private island, solving another murder mystery crime involving a wealthy group of friends.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery follows Detective Blanc as he gets invited to a Meditteranean private island owned by tech billionaire Miles Bron – played by Edward Norton, to "peel back the layers of intrigue" of a murder. Following the gruesome turn of events, Blanc must once again turn on his brilliant detective skills to solve the mystery entangling a fashionista, a Youtube sensation, and others. Following the triumphant box office run and the multi-nominations of Rian Johnson's 2019 hit Knives Out, Netflix immediately bought not just one, but two sequels for the film for more than $400 Million, and Knives Out 3 is definitely on the slate of the streaming service's future films.

Alongside Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc, the sequel features a new star-studded cast with the likes of Kathryn Hann, Dave Bautista, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, and Edward Norton. Rian Johson also returns as director and writer of the film. Check out the official synopsis below:

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, which will be held on September 8 to 18, before arriving on Netflix on December 23.
