One of the most highly-anticipated movies coming to Netflx this month is the Sam Raimi-produced Nightbooks, the film adaptation of J.A. White's 2018 novel about kids who have to feed a fiendish witch's lust for scary stories.
Directed by David Yarovesky, with a script from Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, Nightbooks stars Winslow Fegley as Alex, Lidya Jewett as Yazmin, and Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones, The Defenders) as the evil witch Natacha
Ahead of the film's release later this week, Netflix has shared the first three minutes of Nightbooks on social media, giving us a look at how Alex becomes trapped in the witch's treacherous apartment, and it looks like there will be a lot of supernatural elements in this place.

Alex (Winslow Fegley) is a creative boy with a strong passion for writing scary stories. But when he's labeled weird and rejected for what he likes, he swears he'll never write again.
