Welcome to our rundown of everything coming to Netflix in June 2022.
Now that the first volume of Stranger Things Season 4 is now available to stream on Netflix, fans will have to wait until July to watch the second volume. Thankfully, there's a bunch of exciting original movies and TV shows coming to the streaming service in June 2022 that should help mitigate the wait.
Interceptor, one of the most highly-anticipated movies this year, is coming to Netlfix on June 3. Starring Elsa Pataky and Luke Bracey, Interceptor is an action movie about an Army captain who takes it upon herself to protect her remote interceptor station as an attack comes their way. The movie is also executive produced by Pataky’s real-life husband Chris Hemsworth.
Adam Sandler has another Netflix original movie titled Hustle, which features Sandler as as basketball scout Stanley Sugarman, who helps a new recruit make his way int he NBA. The sports drama, which hits Netflix on June 8, also stars Ben Foster, Queen Latifah, and Robert Duvall.
Chris Hemsworth has another Netflix movie coming in June, but rather than just serving as executive producer, the Thor star will be in Spiderhead, a sci-fi thriller that also stars Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett. It's set to premiere on June 17.
As for TV shows, Peaky Blinders Season 6 will be released on June 10. Fans in the UK watched the sixth and final season between February and April 2022, but it will finally arrive on Netflix.
Love vampires? First Kill is a young adult series that stars Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook), who must must make her first kill as a teenage vampire, but runs into issues when she actually falls for vampire hunter Calliope (Imani Lewis).
One of the most highly-anticipated Netflix original TV shows is The Umbrella Academy, which will make its long-awaited return with Season 3. Season 2 was released in June 2020, leaving fans to wait nearly two years for the next season. But 10 brand new episodes will premiere on Netflix on June 22.
Finally, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, the Korean remake of the popular Spanish crime thriller will be released on June 24. You can read more details about the K-drama in our dedicated article for it.
