Netflix Is Now Testing A New “Ultra” Plan In Europe

Netflix's become more and more popular over the years. With more than 125 million users, the streaming service site managed to beat Disney and become the most valuable media company for a few hours last month.

Now, as the site stands in front of its wave of success, it seems like Netflix has begun testing out a brand new tier in Europe.

According to a report by Tutto Android (translation via CNET), Netflix has begun testing the latest tier, one that might give its users the chance to have four different devices having Netflix Ultra HD video and audio streaming all at the same time. Apparently, Netflix is still testing out this new plan with two different versions of the tier coming at two different price points in Europe.

At $19.80, Netflix is offering a version which allows users to have four Ultra HD streaming. The second version has the Premium $13.99 plan dropping from four to two UHD streaming.

This is what Netflix representative Smita Saran said when asked to comment about the company's newest plans by CNET:

"We continuously test new things at Netflix and these tests typically vary in length of time. In this case, we are testing slightly different price points and features to better understand how consumers value Netflix."

However, while Netflix is currently testing its new plan in Europe, not all subscribers will be able to see the test in the country. Though the outcome might change Netflix's plan offerings, it also might not chance Netflix's price points or features.
