Netflix Introduces “Stan Lee’s Universe”

There's been a whole lot of heartache after Stan Lee's passing with the Marvel comic book legend's fans, celebrity admirers, and comic book colleagues taking to social media to honor the pop culture. Netflix has joined the fray, celebrating Lee's legacy by pulling up the Marvel Cameo King's movies every time fans type in the word "Excelsior" into the site's search bar.

Taking to its official NX Twitter account, the streaming service just announced a brand new feature that it's put on the site to honor Stan Lee and his legacy as a comic book creator and as one of the biggest names in pop culture. Playing around with how it presents its Marvel Entertainment content to subscribers, Netflix has now made a big update on how fans can search for Marvel content in what the site now calls "Stan Lee's Universe."

Check out the post down here:

According to NX's Twitter account, fans can now start typing in "Excelsior" to search all of the different offerings in "Stan Lee's Universe" – films and shows were the comic book legend had cameos in be it actual appearances or Easter Eggs. This includes films like Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: Ragnarok, Jessica Jones, The Defenders, Spider-Man 3, Planet Hulk, Lego Marvel Super Heroes Maximum Overload, and so many, many more.

For those who aren't familiar with the term, "Excelsior" is one of the signature catchphrases that Lee would often use writing for Marvel Comics for decades. It's a term that fans have come to associate with the comic book legend and is almost just as iconic as Lee's brand.
