Netflix just rebranded one of their popular Twitter accounts with the "@NXOnNetflix" account turning into "@NetflixGeeked", which will be the primary source for all genre movies and shows.
The streaming giant has shared a poster and sizzle reel teasing upcoming originals they will be releasing in the near future such as new seasons of Stranger Things, Lucifer, Cobra Kai, The Umbrella Academy, and The Witcher as well as upcoming titles like Three-Body Problem, Shadow and Bone, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more.
Netflix's upcoming slate of original movies and TV shows are based on video games such as The Cuphead Show, The Division, Resident Evil (animated film and live-action series), Assassin's Creed, Tom Raider, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, DOTA: Dragon's Blood, Castlevania, Splinter Cell and Sonic Prime. There are also upcoming titles based on anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam, and One Piece.
It's also worth noting that the upcoming Magic: The Gathering animated series produced by the Joe and Anthony Russo (directors of Avengers: Endgame) is coming, and you can check out its release date and other details here.
The live-action Gundam is being developed by Legendary with Netflix, and it's being directed by Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts with a script by Brian K. Vaughan.
