Netflix has confirmed an official premiere date for the upcoming comedy series, Blockbuster. The show is based on the real-life Blockbuster business company, the home film and video game rental store that became internationally known throughout the 1990s and was a staple in many American cities. It was a popular place to rent or buy DVDs, videogames and other media before Netflix and the world of streaming took over.
