Netflix Assures Fans That Army of the Dead is the "SnyderCut" of the Film

As Netflix releases Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, it seems that it doesn't want to follow the footsteps of the previous production studio encountered by the director about the real cut of the film which prompted the fans to call for its release.

In a tweet by the official Netflix page, it said, "Hope you all love Army of the Dead! Oh, and before you ask... this IS The Snyder Cut." Said tweet garnered funny reactions from the fans of director Zack Snyder who recently released the SnyderCut of Justice League last March after he quitted from the production of the film in 2017.

There has been a lot of backlash about Justice League and the SnyderCut version of it as the film released was allegedly nothing as the director envisioned it would be given the intervention of the production studio over the creative perspective of the film. The fans called for #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and it was a successful online campaign having the version of the director available this year.

However, an irony arises in the said tweet. Because of the ongoing pandemic, Army of the Dead was not able to have all their desired reshoots which the film needed. This even resulted in a major recast as Chis D'Elia was replaced in the film by Tig Notaro following the allegations of Chris for committing sexual misconduct with minors. All the scenes of Notaro had to be digitally placed to be able to insert him in the film. That couldn't be the fault of Netflix, though, given the circumstances, they could have reshot the scenes but such a time is just challenging.

Either way, catch Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead now on Netflix!
