With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming out soon, it's no surprise that there would be a ton of merchandise and promotions about the film. Nerds, a popular candy around the world, has decided to take advantage of the franchise's popularity by announcing that there would be Star Wars-themed versions too, with Light Side Raspberry and Dark Side Cherry, which are hilariously awesome.
Obviously, these aren't different from the usual Nerds flavors, but the little Light Side/Dark Side additions in the box are cute. You can expect kids and kids-at-heart to munch on these when the movie comes out less than a month from now. We doubt that these boxes are going to be rare in the near future but they should be fun for fans of this franchise.
The Rise of Skywalker, like these Nerds flavors, are going to fully showcase the Light and Dark Side for both Rey and Kylo Ren. In both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, we saw some glimpses of Kylo having some of the Light Side in him during certain moments, while The Rise of Skywalker is going to test Rey if the controversial trailer footage is anything to go by.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is scheduled for a December 20 release. It's set to be the final installment in the Skywalker Saga, though there will be more Star Wars movies after this.
