Neil Gaiman Shares First Look at American Gods 2

Starz American Gods was met with great reviews from critics, but the show did catch into some trouble, losing its showrunners, Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, earlier this year. Now it looks like production for the season 2, and Neil Gaiman shares with us a look at the Biggest Carousel in the World.

We get a look at some returning faces like Shadow and Odin, and we also have Mr. Nancy, Bilquis, Salim and the Jinn. Between Salim and Mr. Nancy is also the new showrunner Jesse Alexander.

Though American Gods was originally praised when it came out, it was an odd move to have Bryan Fuller leave. He was, after all, the man who did fantastic work with NBC's Hannibal. American Gods was also not the only thing that Fuller left. He was also attached to Star Trek: Discovery before moving on to something else.

As of now, fans are banking the show's survival on original creator Neil Gaiman, who will be taking on a larger involvement with the series moving forward. Though I am worried that his experience with television is not that seasoned, I believe he can be faithful to the characters that he introduced in the original book.

American Gods 2 comes out sometime in 2019.
