We've already seen the trailer for Good Omens and it looks like the highly anticipated series is going to be amazing. But when exactly will the show premiere on Amazon Prime and BBC? Neil Gaiman says he's not sure yet because they're still working on it.
Gaiman is known for being very interactive with his fans on social media. When one follower demanded to know the Good Omens premiere date, the American Gods author calmly responded that people will need to wait a little longer. Check out his tweet below.
"I am working around the clock, with @drmuig [director Doug Mackinnon], seven days a week, far from our families, to give the people what they want. We labour at the digital coal face, hewing out raw pixels. We want to go home too. You will get Good Omens, but we do have to finish it first," Gaiman wrote.
It's understandable that Gaiman and Mackinnon just want to make sure that the series is perfect before confirming anything. However, there's also a good reason why fans are getting impatient. After all, the series started production back in 2017 and the trailer was released a full year after that. It's unclear why production is taking so long but we're willing to wait so that everything about Good Omens will be perfect.
The stars of Good Omens appear to be getting along just fine. David Tennant has recently confirmed that he is hosting a new podcast show called David Tennant Does A Podcast With... and revealed that his castmates Michael Sheen and Jon Hamm will be two of his special guests.
