If you're looking for the NCIS Hawaii Season 1 Episode 14 return date on CBS, we suppose you're like a lot of other people. We know there will be a long break in the Vanessa Lachey series, but when will it cease?

WARNING: This article contains NCIS Hawaii spoilers.

NCIS Hawaii was last seen on Monday, Jan. 24, during Spies Part 2.

Maggie Shaw (Julie White), Jane's mentor and friend, was found to be a double agent, supplying intelligence for her long-lost son who was working with the Chinese government. Maggie was arrested once the team was able to prove what she was doing.

Maggie was filled with remorse and attempted to justify her actions in a letter, but Jane had already washed her hands of her old friend, refusing to read its contents.

Why is NCIS Hawaii Not on Tonight?

Unfortunately, there will be no new episode on CBS this evening, Monday, Jan. 31. The official reason for the delay has not been disclosed, however, it is likely to be related to the opening of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022.

NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles will likewise go on hiatus as CBS devotes a large portion of its programming to the Games. Unfortunately, this means that there will be a long wait until any of the NCIS shows returns.

When Will NCIS Hawaii Return?

According to Cartermatt, the show's return date is set for Feb. 28, which makes sense for a few reasons. First, the Olympics will be broadcast through Feb. 20, and there is no reason for the show to air at that time. Meanwhile, given how many episodes have already aired for Season 1, it's possible that the network intends to save some of the best material for later in the season.

Of course, CBS has yet to confirm this air date, and it's always conceivable that the next new episode will air on different dates in different parts of the globe. The NCIS franchise usually airs on the same day in both America and Canada, although there are times when things are switched around.

When CBS begins to establish their plan for the weeks ahead, more information on the return date should be available in just a few days.

For those wondering when NCIS will return, the only thing we know for sure is that it will be sometime in February. Not only that, but an episode co-written by cast member Brian Dietzen is set to air. Both of these shows are expected to return for another season, although we may have to wait until the spring for official confirmation.
