It's been a long time since we last saw Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and while most fans have forgotten about how they are as a pair on the big screen, Thor: Love and Thunder pretty much reminds us that the two actors share incredible chemistry together.
Unsurprisingly, both actors get along pretty well on and off camera and the Star Wars actress had nothing but kind words to say about her co-star. Natalie even shared an interesting backstory behind Odinson and Jane Foster's kiss in Love and Thunder and according to her, the Australian actor was kind enough to "prepare" for their big screen smooch.
In an interview with Capital FM (via Uproxx), the Mighty Thor actress revealed that Chris, who's a bonafide carnivore didn't eat meat before filming their kissing scene. Why, you ask? It's simply because Natalie has been practicing veganism for over a decade now.
The actress explains how she finds the rather bizarre gesture "thoughtful". Natalie shares: "He’s really nice. The day we had a kiss scene he didn’t eat meat that morning because I’m vegan. And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful."

As for Natalie's MCU future, while Thor: Love and Thunder saw the death of Jane Foster, it didn't take long for Marvel Studios to tease her eventual return through the film's post-credits scene. I mean, Jane's story as Mighty Thor has only begun and it would be a crime if the studio didn't explore more stories involving the character.
