The second episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 just dropped today and it continues Din Djarin's quest of searching for the other remaining Mandalorians in existence that could help him locate The Child's kind. Titled "The Passenger", the specific episode's synopsis which was released earlier this week caused a little confusion within the entire Star Wars community as a lot of fans assumed it will be the episode to feature Mando and Baby Yoda's exploits on a water planet which is presumed to be Mon Cala.
Turns out, that's not the case and Chapter 10 actually takes place in an icy world and if you've seen the official trailer prior to the second season's release last week, then you're just as curious about the true identity of a new mystery character who will be portrayed by WWE superstar Sasha Banks. Again, thanks to the "deceiving" plot details which led a lot of fans (myself included) to believe that the action will be taking place at sea, we've yet to see Banks' intriguing appearance on the show.
Naturally, this upset fans who were expecting to see her this week. While it's safe to assume that it won't be long before she turns up on the show, the good folks at CBR are speculating that Banks' character ties directly into The Rise of Skywalker. According to their feature, Banks' could turn out to be one of the Sith worshippers we saw in the final chapter of the Skywalker saga. Other people theorize that she's actually a Mandalorian refugee. Both claims are pretty convincing when you think about it but only the series itself can answer our questions.
Now, this even puts more intrigue surrounding Sasha's true involvement in the show. The initial thought amongst fans after seeing the first trailer a couple of months back is that she'll only be taking on a minor cameo and that's it but by the looks of things, her mysterious character could turn out to be so much more and that alone should excite you. Let's see what happens in the coming episodes.
