The summer 2024 anime season is still two months away, but we’re now getting release date announcements for next season’s upcoming shows. For instance, the My Wife Has No Emotion anime revealed its July release date earlier today.
Alongside the show’s premiere, a new visual was released, and two new voice cast members were announced.
These two VAs are popular actresses, which many anime fans should know given their recent notable roles.
Meet the Voice Cast of My Wife Has No Emotion
My Wife Has No Emotion is an upcoming anime by Tezuka Productions, the studio behind Under Ninja, My Home Hero, and The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses.
Just like most new romance anime, this show is based on an ongoing manga serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper. It is also published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Previously, the series got a trailer that showed off its two main characters and previewed their respective voice actors.
While there’s no new trailer for the series yet, two new VAs were revealed. These two voice supporting characters who play key roles in the show’s story.
For now, here are the confirmed voice cast members in the series:
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Mitsuki Kiryu in Wind Breaker) as Takuma Kosugi
- Konomi Inagaki (Lilique Kadoka Lipati in Gundam: The Witch from Mercury) as Mina
- Yoshino Aoyama (Bocchi in Bocchi the Rock!) as Akari Kosugi
- Yu Serizawa (Rae Taylor in I'm in Love with the Villainess) as Super Mina

My Wife Has No Emotion Anime Gets July Release Date
On top of the new cast members, another key visual for the series was shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account that features Takuma and his robot wife, Mina.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the series to air as My Wife Has No Emotion will be released on July 2, 2024. In Japan, the series will be streamed weekly on Tokyo MX and other select networks.
For those wondering if this is worth watching, the series is about a salaryman who develops feelings for his robot housekeeper. Soon, they become husband and wife in this understated slice-of-life romance.
While the series is confirmed to air on select Japanese networks, there’s no word yet on which platform it will be streamed on outside of Japan.
The show’s streaming platform partner will likely be announced later this month or in June ahead of the summer 2024 season’s start.
