With the Summer 23 season approaching, lots of upcoming anime are being hyped with new teasers and promo videos. The latest is My Tiny Senpai which recently got a unique teaser as well as a new character visual.
My Tiny Senpai is an upcoming romance anime that will premiere in just a bit over a month, and based on the previews, it should be a nice palate cleanser for the big action anime that will release this summer.
My Tiny Senpai Promises to be the Comfy Romance of Summer 23
There are lots of romance anime that are released every season, but not all romance shows are the same. While many romance shows are comedies that are set in high school, My Tiny Senpai is quite different.
Instead of starring a kouhai and senpai relationship in high school, this show is set in an office, and it follows Takuma Shinozaki, an office worker who is coddled by his senpai Shiori Katase who is kind, and very short.
Based on its premise, this upcoming series is going to be the comfy and relaxing anime of the season. This should make it similar in feel to titles like Shikimori is Not Just a Cutie or Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible.
Another anime that is quite similar to this is My Senpai is Annoying, another office romance anime. While it follows another tiny office lady, the girl in this anime is the kouhai while his large co-worker is the senpai.

My Tiny Senpai Gets a Unique Teaser
With the show’s release inching ever closer, a new teaser for My Tiny Senpai was released. But unlike the show’s previous trailer, this one is an audio-only voice drama.
Specifically, the teaser features a scenario where the senpai Shiori takes a co-worker out to lunch.

For this video, voice actress Hina Tachibana (Satono Diamond in Uma Musume Pretty Derby) shows off her vocal chops as Shiori.
Tachibana will also voice Shiori in the anime. She is joined by Yuki Shin (Takemichi in Tokyo Revengers) who is voicing Takuma Shinozaki.
My Tiny Senpai will premiere in July 2023, though there’s no word yet on which platform the show will be streamed on outside Japan.
