My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered Reveals January 2024 Release Date

My Instant Death Ability is shaping up to be a series for isekai fans who want to see an OP main character wreck foes in a fantasy world. For those keen on adding this to their watch list, My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered finally confirmed its January 2024 release date.

Thanks to this, isekai fans can mark their calendars. The wait won’t be long as the show will premiere just a few days after New Year’s Day.

Along with the release date reveal, the anime also announced more new voice cast members.

Isekai Anime My Instant Death Reveals Three New Cast Members

Officially titled My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!, this upcoming isekai anime stars some big-name VAs.

For instance, the main character, Yogiri, is voiced by Koki Uchiyama who also plays Shigaraki in My Hero Academia. Meanwhile, Tomochika is voiced by Miyu Tomita, who is best known as Miko Iino in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.

Now, more new cast members have been announced. Among them is Mark Ishii as Rick. Ishii is the voice of Lev Haiba in Haikyuu!! and Chrono Shindou in Cardfight!! Vanguard.

Also joining the anime’s cast is Shou Nogami (Sadaharu in More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) as Lynel and Akira Sekine (Charlotte in Princess Principal) as Theodisia.

The anime’s opening theme song was also revealed, and it’s titled Killer Bars by the Japanese hip-hop group Hilcrhyme. This group performed the ending theme of Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered Confirms January 2024 Release

This upcoming anime by studio Okuruto Noboru (of Tomodachi Game fame) is the latest in a long line of isekai anime with an overpowered protagonist.

Its title already explains what fans can expect. The show follows Yogiri, a high school student with an incredibly overpowered ability that allows him to kill anything instantly.

What makes it more interesting than other shows of its type is that Yogiri isn’t the only one transported to a fantasy world. Instead, his classmates are also transported alongside him.

Previously, the show was only revealed to have a January premiere. Now, My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered is confirmed to be released on January 4, 2024.

Given that the show’s license is held by Sentai Filmworks in North America, chances are that this series will be streamed on HIDIVE in Winter 24.
