MyHeroOne's Justice is one of the more anticipated anime games coming out this week, with fans eager to get their hands on Deku, Bakugo, All Might, and a number of other characters. It seems like this will be a quality arena brawler and the decently-sized roster should entertain a lot of fans. Sadly, fans of the English dub from Funimation will be sad to know that there won't be any English voice acting.
That isn't to say that the Japanese actors for the anime and game are bad by any means but the English dub does have its charms. Christopher Sabat, who many will be familiar with thanks to his roles as Vegeta and Piccolo, does a great job as All Might, even switching his vocal tones between the hero's two turns.
Bandai Namco confirmed the disappointing news on Twitter, where they said that the game would have multiple subtitle languages but no additional voices. It's a shame that we won't get to hear the talented cast from the Funimation dub but this shouldn't be a deal breaker for those that want to get the game.
Looking similar to other anime-based fighting games, everyone is hoping My Hero One's Justice is more like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm and less like One Piece: Burning Blood. With solid visuals and a fun-looking combat system, this could be the My Hero game all of its fans deserve. Here's hoping its Plus Ultra.
My Hero One's Justice comes to the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 26.
