In the latest Weekly Shonen Jump issue, the My Hero Academia Season 7 release window has finally been confirmed, and its premiere will come in the time frame that many expected given the series’ previous release schedules.

The popular shonen series’ premiere will happen in Spring 24. This makes 2024 an exciting one for fans as there’s also an upcoming movie that many expect to be released sometime next year.

Even though there’s not a lot of info about the new season, it’s safe to say that this will be another two-cour season based on the show’s history.

My Hero Academia's sixth season ended in March. Unlike many Winter 23 titles that have suffered multiple delays, the show continued to treat fans to new episodes weekly.

Soon after the Season 6 finale, the anime was confirmed to be renewed for yet another season. This was an expected development, especially considering how popular My Hero Academia continues to be.

The initial announcement did not come with other details. Now though, the seventh season’s Spring 2024 release window was finally confirmed. This was shared alongside a new key visual.

Deku takes center stage in this new visual, which shows him in a less tattered look compared to when he was on the run. Joining him are Bakugo, Todoroki, and Ochaco.

There are no new characters in this visual, but it was previously confirmed that the American hero Stars and Stripes will appear in the new season. She will be voiced by Romi Park (Hange Zoe in Attack on Titan).

Aside from the first season, all other My Hero Academia seasons were two-cours in length and had no breaks between them.

There’s no word yet on an official episode count, but it should be a safe bet that the seventh season will also be a two-cour with a consecutive release schedule.

It’s also likely that Season 7 will get 25 episodes as practically all other seasons have the same episode count.

As for its release date, it’s all but guaranteed that the new season will premiere in April 2024. This should mean fans will get new My Hero Academia episodes every week until September.

We'll have to wait a bit for new info, though fans are hoping that more details will be revealed at Jump Festa 2024 this weekend.

Along with the upcoming season, anime studio Bones will also be busy with the fourth My Hero Academia theatrical film.
