My Hero Academia Prequel Manga is Reportedly Ending Soon


My Hero Academia has plastered its name in the industry since its inception and it has already become a staple for both manga and anime that it borne a lot of spinoffs. However, for one prequel, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, the pages may be running out sooner than later as it is reportedly ending in a few chapters.

Shonen Jump release a spread for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes and it teases a big fight in the prequel confirming that the prequel series is about to reach its climax and suggesting that the end is near for the manga.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is set in the events before Izuku Midoriya arrives at the UA High School and it follows Koichi, a college vigilante who wants to be like his idol, All Might, as he tries to become a hero by saving the civilians around Naruhata. He already encountered Mirko and Eraser Head, familiar names from the original series.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero shōnen manga series of Kōhei Horikoshi which started as a one-shot My Hero and Horikoshi, the author himself, wanted to turn the one-shot into a series after the end of Barrage. It is published in the Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014 which to date has been collected into 29 tankōbon volumes. It has been published simultaneously in English by Viz Media.

My Hero Academia revolves around the story of Izuku Midoriya, a quirk who is someone born without any superpowers in a world where it is common for one to have superpowers, who dreams of being his very own kind of superhero. The greatest hero of Japan, All Might, who has his own quirk, scouted Midoriya and shares it with Midoriya after he sees potential in him to become a superhero. All Might helped Midoriya in the prestigious school where heroes go for training.

Currently, My Hero Academia has a lot on their plate right now given that a sixth season is about to release for the anime series.

My Hero Academia is set to get its Season 6 in Fall 2022.
