My Hero Academia Movie Gets Worldwide Fan Event Ahead of Premiere


The premiere of My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission is less than a month away but it looks like international fans are in for an early treat. The upcoming film is holding a special fan event for fans around the globe next week.

It's no secret that the third My Hero Academia will premiere in Japan in early August. Although the film is also expected to get a theatrical release internationally, fans have yet to get an official announcement. In the meantime, TOHO is hosting a fan event that will please international fans.

The official My Hero Academiawebsite has confirmed that a World Fan Meeting event will be held online next Monday. Fans are invited to send a video message for the cast and crew as well as other fans who will be tuning in.

Not surprisingly, people are already hyped up for the fan event next week. After all, there are speculations that the World Heroes' Mission international release dates will be dropped during the event. In addition to that, fans are hoping that a special clip will be shared.

The My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission international fan event will be broadcast on TOHO's official YouTube channel. Participating guests include Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Yuki Kaji who voice Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki, respectively.

They will be joined by Kazuya Nakai who will voice the villainous Flect Turn as well as Megumi Hayashibara and Ryo Yoshizawa, the voice actors behind new characters Pino and Rody Soul, respectively.

The fan event will be on July 19, 2021, at 6:30 PM JST. My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission will premiere in Japan on August 6, 2021.
