Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the sequel to the Dr. Strange franchise, released the official teaser last December of 2021. The film features Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and of course, sorcerer, Dr. Strange as the two main protagonists of the film. However, the main antagonist wasn’t revealed yet but new plot leaks from Reddit and 4chan declares who is the big villain on this film.
Analyzing the trailer, we see multiple potential villains like Mordo, Shuma Gorath, and an evil Dr. Strange Variant. It looks like these villains will surely make Wanda and Dr. Strange's adventure to the multiverse really challenging. But according to sources from different platforms, Wanda will be the main villain of the film, and the villains revealed in the teaser are purposely done to mislead the audience.
On WandaVision, we saw what a distraught Wanda can do - she can bend realities and control the people around her. Spoiler alert, on the ending, she lost Vision and her imaginary kids while setting free the community beyond her control. In the last scene, we see Wanda astral projecting while reading the Darkhold and eventually hearing her imaginary kids calling her in the background.
Now, this is probably where we will see a more destructive and more dangerous Wanda, using the multiverse to get to her imaginary kids.
In the Reddit leaks, Wanda is rumored to be exploring the multiverse using the Darkhold without knowing that the book is also consuming her. She stumbles upon a universe where she is a housewife together with her kids. Losing a complete sense of reality, she goes on a killing spree and killed everyone including other sorcerers in Kamar-Taj.
According to these plot leaks, Wanda will be Dr. Strange’s biggest problem and she will definitely be messy in the rest of the film.
