Although the movie was initially set to premiere on March 27 but needed to be delayed due to COVID-19. The film was then rescheduled for July 24 before getting pushed back to August 21. Disney ultimately decided to release the movie on its streaming service on September 4 for a premium fee.

Not surprisingly, most people were not eager to pay for the $29.99 price tag on the film. However, fans can now rest assured that they don't have to worry about it because starting December 4, Mulan is available for free on Disney+.
