The Elder Dragons of Magic: The Gathering's Legends set will return in the next set, according to Magic Head Designer Mark Rosewater.

Last week, a WeeklyMTG Twitch stream revealed some story details for Core Set 2019 that claims that the focus of the story will be the conflict between Nicol Bolas and Ugin, and the Elder Dragons so many assumed that the story will be set in Tarkir but today, Mark Rosewater clarified on his Blogatog page that they were referring to the Elder Dragons of the Legends set released in 1994, not from Khans of Tarkir.

The Elder Dragons of Legends are Chromium Rhuell, Arcades Sabboth, Palladia-Mors, Vaevicitis Asmadi, and of course, Nicol Bolas.

We'll probably see them revived in the form of Core Set 2019 cards but we still don't know what role they'll play in the upcoming story. I'm excited to see them return.

Core Set 2019 will be available on July 13.
