The spoilers for Magic: The Gathering's soon-to-be-released Core Set 2019 continues, and today, Wizards of the Coast reveals another new Planeswalker: Sarkhan, Fireblood. Check him out:

This card was clearly made for Dragon tribal decks. With its first ability, you can filter out cards in your hand that you don't need. It's also a fine way to discard a creature you want to animate in future turns. You'll be able to ramp up mana to play your big dragons faster with its second +1 ability. It would be awesome if you can pull off its ultimate. Having four 5/5 dragons with flying could definitely bring you the victory but getting there is a challenge, especially since Sarkhan can't really protect himself.

This card might not see play in competitive Standard but Commander players will probably use it in their Dragon tribal decks.

Core Set 2019 will be released on July 13, 2018. Prerelease events will take place from July 7 to 8.
