What Is the K-drama Moving About?

Moving is a K-drama that follows a group of people with superpowers who are hiding their abilities. Most of the people with superpowers have become parents now, with their children inheriting their abilities.

As people with superpowers are being hunted down, the parents with painful pasts do their best to stay hidden and to keep their children’s abilities a secret.

The series starts by showing things from the teenagers’ perspectives. Kim Bong-seok, Jang Hui-soo, and Lee Kang-hoon are high school students dealing with the challenges of senior year while keeping their superpowers a secret.

Later on, we get episodes focused on the parents, which shed light on how things came to be.

Yes, the K-drama Moving has romance. But note that Moving is a superhero series, with a mix of fantasy, science fiction, and action. It is not a K-drama that is centered on romance (or a romance drama), but it does have an amount of that genre in the show.

There’s romance between the three teenagers, Kim Bong-seok, Jang Hui-soo, and Lee Kang-hoon. Kim Bong-seok clearly has a crush on Hui-soo, while Kang-hoon seems to be interested in her too.

But since Bong-seok and Hui-soo are the ones who are close and spend most of their time together, it’s between them where the cute moments happen.

For instance, Hui-soo once asked Bong-seok if he liked her, and the latter couldn’t respond in words. Bong-seok also gets excited whenever he sees Hui-soo.

Another is the romance between the parents. The series shows how Bong-seok’s parents, Lee Mi-hyun (played by Han Hyo-joo) and Kim Doo-sik (played by Zo In-sung) met and fell in love. You will find yourself smiling in this one.

It also shows the romance between Hui-soo’s parents (Jang Ju-won and Hwang Ji-hee). Now, this one was quite tragic, so be prepared.

So, while Moving is a superhero series, it does have some heartfelt romance in it. And in case you haven’t watched Moving yet, go ahead and watch the series! You can also check here for all the latest news on K-dramas.
