The soon-to-be-released Magic: The Gathering set Battlebond is being marketed as the first set is Magic history made for Two-Headed Giant games but Commander players are also happy to see the abundance of powerful cards they can use in their favorite format. But before we look at the cards revealed today, here's a hilarious meme from our MTG fan page:

Yup! Sure, players will buy Battlebond to enjoy Two-Headed Giant games but even those who can't find partners to play will have a big reason to buy this set for Commander format. Not everything has been spoiled yet, but the cards revealed so far would please Commander enthusiasts.

Just check out this insanely powerful card:

For three mana, you can wipe out the majority of the creatures in play! I'm sure this will be a staple in Rakdos (Red/Black) Commander decks.

Here's a couple of decent green cards: Bramble Sovereign can help give your partner a copy of their creatures. This could also be fun to use in multiplayer Commander formats, where you can give a player of your choice the gift of this creature's effect.

Greater Good definitely fits in a lot of decks that run a lot of big creatures. Gotta love the flavor text in this one too.

Together Forever can also bring some interesting interactions in multiplayer Commander. It's not rare to see creatures with counters in Commander format, plus this Enchantment itself can give counters to your own creatures, your partner's (in 2-Headed-Giant format) or anyone in multiplayer Commander you'd want to give extra protection.

More reprints have also been spoiled today: Seedborn Muse, Nirkhana Revenant, and Kor Spiritdancer.

Translation:

Whenever you tap a Swamp for mana, add an additional B
B: Nirkana Revenant gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

In addition to the powerful Commander staples and reprints, they also revealed partner cards. Check them out:
