Morbius Director Confirms Tom Hardy Cameo in Jared Leto Film

We are already expecting to see Eddie Brock's return in Venom: Let There Be Carnage next month. However, it looks like Tom Hardy will be back in another Sony Marvel film next year. Director Daniel Espinosa has somehow confirmed that Venom will show up again in Morbius in January.

The delay of Morbius has been a sad one for fans considering that the Jared Leto movie should have hit theaters last year. Although it was expected to premiere last March, Sony has since pushed it back yet again for January 2022, much to the dismay of impatient fans.

But what can we expect in Morbius? Espinosa recently spoke with MovieZine where he explained what it was like to be working on the set of the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters film. Interestingly, he somehow confirmed that Hardy was part of the cast while marveling at the amazing stars that he has worked with.

"When you walk around there, the recording looks just like a Swedish production, but then when you look at the schedule and read names like Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, then it feels cool and very exciting," Espinosa said.

This is an interesting revelation considering that fans have long wondered if other characters in the SPUMC will show up Morbius. Keaton's appearance has already been confirmed in the trailer but Hardy's cameo was never revealed. Needless to say, it's good to know that Eddie Brock might be teaming up with Michael Morbius next year.

Morbius will also star Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. The film is scheduled for release on January 28, 2022. Meanwhile, Hardy will first show up in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which will hit theaters on September 21, 2021.
