After months of anticipation, Marvel Studios finally dropped the first episode of the newest spinoff series Moon Knight and from the get-go, it already proved that there's truly no such thing as "superhero fatigue" because the show was a hot topic on social media.

We all thought the first episode would be another origin story but turns out, it already establishes that Marc Spector already took on the Moon Knight mantle. Titled "The Goldfish Problem", the series introduces us to Spector's alter-ego Steven Grant who is a gift shop clerk at a London museum. Right from the beginning, the show sets up that he is a marked man as Arthur Harrow and his servants try to retrieve the Golden Scarab from him.

Now, the real question is, what did fans think of the first episode? Was it good enough to keep everyone interested? While a lot of fans thought Episode 1 was a banger, some viewers weren't pleased with how it started and even went as far as calling it "boring". Other fans found themselves quite confused and didn't know what was actually going on, especially with the scenes where Marc Spector's mental condition was being highlighted. To be fair, it's hard to judge the show based on one episode and while personally, I found it to be just "okay", I believe the series will get progressively better in the weeks to come. By no means was Moon Knight's premiere episode bad, I was just expecting to see something more but I do appreciate the fact that it's pretty straightforward.

Moon Knight's debut episode is already streaming exclusively on Disney+.
