Daredevil: Born Again's "promise" of violence and brutality led fans of the Moon Knight series to doubt the possibility that the MCU reboot will stay true to its roots.

Moon Knight Fans Are Not Impressed with Daredevil Reboot's Promise

As much as Moon Knight fans are hoping for Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector to return to Disney+ soon, nothing has been confirmed yet regarding a potential season 2.

For the uninitiated, Moon Knight season 2 has continued to be in limbo from the MCU's plans.

However, when the series trended all over X (formerly Twitter), fans dashed to what the fuss was all about, only to be distraught that the "trend" wasn't related to a second season confirmation at all.

What fans came to under the trending Moon Knight topic was Marvel's head of Television Brad Winderbaum teasing that Daredevil: Born Again will be featuring "some of the most brutal action we've ever brought to the screen", which didn't sit right with fans.

Fans were disappointed with the once-promised violence Moon Knight episodes were initially set to give, only to have cut the promised final fight from the season finale.

This led viewers to believe that the same circumstance could happen to the Man With No Fear.

However, as some fans pointed out, while Moon Knight had been greenlit as a TV-14-rated show, Daredevil: Born Again gets to keep its TV-MA rating, meaning that it's natural for MCU's reboot to bring back how Netflix's Daredevil went on for three seasons with its R-rated scenes.

It remains to be seen how Daredevil: Born Again's rating will be any different in allowing more violence into the reboot show.

Then again, with Deadpool and Wolverine practically paving the way for more mature projects in the franchise, Matt Murdock's Daredevil should find no problem at all in displaying more graphic scenes as a series.

Though Moon Knight season 2 has yet to proceed, Daredevil: Born Again is slated to premiere on Disney+ sometime in March 2025.
