It has already been confirmed that Keanu Reeves is being considered for a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But which character will the John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum star actually portray? Marvel writer Dan Slott believes that Reeves should take on the role of the mysterious Marc Spector in MCU's Phase 4. Not surprisingly, former Moon Knight illustrator Bill Sienkiewicz agrees with the idea.
Slott recently took to Twitter to share an article about Reeves' MCU involvement and announced his support for the Toy Story 4 star being the MCU's Moon Knight. Take a look at his tweet below.
"I'm seeing lots of people saying Reed Richards, Adam Warlock, and Silver Surfer. My vote? Marc Spector: Moon Knight," Slott wrote. He followed the tweet up with all of the "characters" that Reeves would need to play if he takes on the role.
"Whoever plays Moon Knight has to also be able to pull off: Mercenary, Marc Spector. Cabbie, Jake Lockley. And Millionaire, Steven Grant. That's your man for the job," he wrote.
Not surprisingly, Sienkiewicz immediately supported Slott's idea.
"Dan, We are absolutely on the same page here. #KeanuReeves would be great as all the phases of Moon Knight," he wrote.
It was previously reported that Reeves is being considered for a role in Chloe Zhao's The Eternals, which also stars Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden. However, it is possible that Marvel Studios wants Reeves to lead an MCU film instead of playing a villain in an ensemble cast. Additionally, some believe that the Matrix actor would be perfect as Silver Surfer or Adam Warlock.
Moon Knight certainly seems like the best possible role for Reeves at the moment. However, we will need to wait for an announcement from Marvel about his future role in the MCU.
