Money Heist will be returning for the second part of the final season and it will be an action-packed finale. The trailer showed that the Professor (Alvaro Morte) has gone missing and Inspector of the National Police Corps Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) could be the culprit.
The Professor Is Missing In Money Heist Season 5
In Money Heist Season 5 Part 2's trailer, Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Palmero (Rodrigo de la Serna), Denver (Jaime Lorente), and the rest of the gang are talking about the Professor going missing.
In the trailer, Lisbon tells the group that the Professor is missing and asks the rest what they will do with the gold. The gang looks shocked and only Denver asks how the Professor goes missing.
Lisbon doesn't offer any explanation because she also doesn't know what happens.
Is Alicia Behind The Professor Going Missing?
In the first part of Money Heist Season 5, Alicia Sierra seems to be involved with the Professor going missing. In Part 1, her loyalty remained questionable even after the Professor helped her deliver her baby.
In one scene, she slips into the restroom and hides a small pair of scissors in her sleeve. She wants to bring the Professor and his accomplices to justice but lets him go out of necessity. However, if the Professor is in trouble, Sierra will likely be the prime suspect.
Another Theory About The Missing Professor In Money Heist Season 5
While Sierra is among the suspects about the Professor going missing, there is also another potential explanation. It's possible that it is part of the plan because they know that someone is listening to their conversation.
The Professor has been the brain of the gang. He is always in charge and always has plans.
When Lisbon announces the Professor going missing, Denver asks, "What do you mean he's disappeared? Where? To the f--king Bermuda Triangle?"
The Professor had also mentioned Bermuda Triangle in the first part of Season 5. "Madrid isn't the Bermuda Triangle," he said when he discussed how to hide (Luka Peroš) and a helicopter from the police.
Thus, it's possible that the gang and the Professor are aware of where the latter is.
Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 will return in December.
