Kim Yoon Jin on Playing Seo Woo Jin in Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area
In the adaptation, Kim Yoon Jin took the role of Seo Woo Jin, the negotiator who conducts joint inter-Korean operations during the heist.
She is the Korean version of Inspector Racquel Murillo in La Casa De Papel played by Itziar Ituño.
During the online interview as obtained by a local outlet, the 48-year-old actress expressed her deep gratitude for the overwhelming response of the viewers.
Moreover, the actress hoped that the audience’s enthusiasm will continue, adding “and many people will continue watching Money Heist Korea.”
When asked about her role as the negotiator playing Seon Woo Jin, the actress said that she was “happy” upon reading the script and pointed out how they “added Korean elements” to the adaptation.
Kim Yoon Jin also revealed that she paid attention to every detail of Seon Woo Jin’s personal life since she is a single mother who is fighting for custody against her ex-husband who is a powerful politician.

Kim Yoon Jin’s Working Relationship With Yoo Ji Tae
In Money Heist Korea, Seon Woo Jin keeps constant communication with the Professor, played by Yoo Ji Tae.
Since most of her scenes include the actor, Kim Yoon Joon described Yoo Ji Tae as a “good partner.”
During the interview, she praised her co-worker and said that he was “completely immersed” in his character since day 1 to the “extent that he thought he was a 'professor'.
Moreover, throughout the production, Yoo Ji Tae “took great care” of her adding that they also spoke about their chemistry on-screen to show their relationship as the professor and Seon Woo Jin.

At the time, the Spanish series created a huge craze among their global fans.
Five years later, it has now been remade to the Korean version boasting a star-studded cast.
As the interview continues, Kim Yoon Jin revealed that she was in Los Angeles when the original series was released.
After being introduced by her friends to her, she became hooked on the show.
She recalled watching only one or two episodes, but ended up binge-watching the whole season. For Kim Yoon Jin, “the story, directing, and acting” in Money Heist “was good.”
Before joining the Korean adaptation, she is best known for her role in the American TV series, Lost, playing Sun Hwa Kwon, who was born in a wealthy environment with a dangerous and corrupt father.
