Money Heist Korea Part 2: Park Hae Soo Hints at ‘Brutal’ Side of Berlin

Park Hae Soo dishes out the highly anticipated Money Heist Korea Part 2.

Best known for his role as a famous baseball player in Prison Playbook and the debt-ridden Cho Sang Woo a.k.a player no. 218 in Squid Game, the actor stars in another Netflix series donning the role initially played by Spanish actor Pedro Alonso.

The 40-year-old South Korean actor plays Berlin in the adaptation and is joined by Yoo Ji Tae as Professor, Jeon Jong Seo as Tokyo, Jang Yoo Ju as Nairobi, Kim Ji Hoon as Denver and more.

In the six-part episode series, Berlin is the professor's right hand and acts as the leader of the gang while they are at the mint of a unified Korea.

The group’s goal is to break in and steal 4 trillion won and successfully get out in one piece.

While Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 1 continues to rake overwhelming responses from global viewers, Park Hae Soo talks about the upcoming second part of the series.

Money Heist: Korea Part 1 Will Have Fun and Dynamic Scenes

During an exclusive interview, the South Korean star hints at what to expect in the adaptation’s part 2.

As obtained by GStarLive, shared what he knows about the upcoming sequel. Park Hae Soo teased viewers and said "The 2nd part is far more fun and I think that it's more dynamic,” stimulating the interest and curiosity of fans.

Moreover, he also spoke about the possible conflicts between the gang and the authorities.

"Both internal and external conflict of the characters will get more intense,” he said.

Interestingly, the actor also mentioned his character, pointing out that viewers will get to see “a more brutal side of Berlin in part 2."

While Money Heist Korea Part 1 left viewers wanting for more, part 2 will be released later this year.

The public will also see several familiar faces and probably new ones as Netflix releases part 2.


Money Heist Korea Part 1 Ascends in Netflix Top 10 TV Show Rankings

In the latest chart released by Flix Patrol as of June 28, Money Heist Korea Part 1 climbs to second place, beating the comedy show Man Vs Bee which was previously in the second spot.

From ranking first in 10 countries mostly in Asia, the Korean adaptation of La Casa De Papel tops 16 countries which include Peru, Morocco, the Philippines, Nicaragua, Hong Kong, Maldives and more.

With the current status of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, it is safe to say that the adaptation will top the Netflix chart in no time, just like its recent K-series All of Us Are Dead and the biggest Netflix series, Squid Game.
